MMS
engineered this 20-acre portion of a commercial "big
box" retail center in the City of Brentwood
Planned Development Area No. 38. Site design included
circulation, drainage, utility, parking lot, and site
access.
Kaiser
Medical Office Building, Antioch, CA
MMS
is proud to have been a part of the team that built Kaiser’s
new award winning facility in Antioch. The
project included two construction phases including a
Medical Office Building, and then the Hospital. MMS
provided the following civil engineering, surveying,
planning, and project management services:
Medical Office Building (MOB):
- Plans, specifications, and estimates for onsite and
offsite improvements
- ALTA survey mapping
- On
and off-site civil engineering design and field support
during construction
- Review
of contractor’s requests for information, clarification
requests, review materials submittals, field verification
of improvements constructed, and processing contractor’s
requests for payment.

Hospital:
- Entitlement processing assistance
- Preliminary geometric design and precise alignment
for Deer Valley Road and Sand Creek Road
- Preliminary oil pipeline relocation and coordination
- Water and sanitary sewer capacity analysis
Diamond Park Way Preliminary Development Plan, Manteca, CA
MMS
designed land use plans for this 10.4 acre mixed-use
commercial site in the City of Manteca, which includes
a 17,000 square foot hotel, 43,000 square feet of retail
space, and an 18,000 square foot restaurant. The site
design and land uses are intended to provide local
commercial support while providing overnight needs
for an adjacent recreational, retail, and restaurant
development with a regional draw.
Gateway Village Preliminary Development Plan, Manteca, CA
MMS
designed preliminary land use plans for this 25.8 acre
commercial site in the City of Manteca. The project
included pedestrian-friendly anchor and support retail,
restaurants, office space, a service station, and a
shared drainage basin, and was designed to support
a growing local residential population.
Black Diamond Estates Assessment District, Antioch, CA
MMS
acted as Engineer of Work for this $7.6 million Assessment
District for the purpose of infrastructure development
and construction. This project included District formation,
management of the Engineer's Report, and bond sale
strategy for a major development corporation. The client
requested that an Assessment District be formed to
provide the necessary vehicle for infrastructure extension
and a funding source. Additional responsibilities included
facilitating the coordination among the City, bond
counsel, financial consultant, and staff in preparing
the required district boundary map, assessment roll,
and diagrams for the Engineer's Report.
Sierra
Vista Residential Subdivision, Antioch, CA
MMS provided entitlement services, subdivision mapping,
surveying, and civil engineering design for this fifty
lot hillside estate subdivision in the City of Antioch
and was responsible for topographic surveys, project
control, and subdivision final mapping for this steep
hillside subdivision. Of note, MMS designed the storm
drain system to meet new and dynamic NPDES discharge
requirements utilizing grasslined bioswales, and a detention
basin using the latest materials and techniques.
Future Urban Area 1 (FUA 1), Antioch CA
MMS
provided several services for multiple landowners and
development companies for approximately 2,500 acres
of undeveloped land in the City of Antioch. Our services
included annexation processing of FUA 1 into the City
of Antioch, preliminary utility planning for ultimate
buildout, land development feasibility analysis, and
cost estimates for infrastructure.
Subdivision
Mapping in Southeast Antioch, Antioch CA
MMS
provided subdivision mapping for approximately 6,000
units for several homebuilders in a large specific
plan area in the City of Antioch. MMS’s comprehensive
solutions including Planning, Civil Engineering, and
Surveying expertise were called upon to develop community
based subdivision design for sensible regional growth.
Mapping services included land use programming, circulation,
and preliminary engineering to produce tentative
tract maps, final maps, and improvement plans for balanced
growth. |
